Sunscreen for Expats UAE
Your First Dubai SPF Checklist

First week in Dubai? Here's the sunscreen checklist every new expat needs. Your home country SPF is probably not enough for UAE conditions.

✅ Upgrade to SPF50+
Your SPF30 from back home is insufficient. Dubai's UV Index averages 11–12 from April–September. Minimum SPF50+ for all outdoor activity.
✅ Switch to Lightweight Formula
European thick creams pill and go white in Dubai humidity. Switch to Japanese essence, Korean gel, or pharmacy fluid formulas.
✅ Buy on Amazon.ae
Best selection, fastest delivery, competitive pricing in AED. Subscribe & Save for monthly auto-delivery if you're staying long-term.
✅ Reapply Every 90 Min
Your home routine of "once in the morning" doesn't work in Dubai. Sweat and UV intensity require reapplication every 60–90 minutes outdoors.
✅ Don't Skip Winter SPF
November to March, Dubai UV is still 5-7 (High category). Most expats stop using SPF. Dermatologists see cumulative damage 5 years later.
